Some weddings you can just see the love! Mike and Jamie are so sweet together and Spanish Oaks Ranch was perfect for their wedding day. The morning of the wedding it was actually raining, not just sprinkling but real rain with thunder and lightning. Now I know in other parts of the country thunderstorms in August are common but here in drought stricken California we were all shocked and amazed by the surprise storm. Luckily Spanish Oaks in one of the few wedding venues in San Luis Obispo County that has a large indoor area to set up the tables and accommodate everyone in any weather.
Jamie didn’t let the rain dampen her spirits. She was determined to get married under the big oak tree rain or shine! It rained on her parent’s wedding day and so she took it as a good sign – Love that girl’s spirit! But her day was truly blessed with skies clearing in time for her ceremony, a beautiful sunset and the rain only returning for the last few dances! How lucky is that? Absolutely Perfect!
I absolutely loved capturing Mike and Jamie’s engagement and their wedding day was no different. The way they look at each other and make each other melt was so fun to capture. There love radiates! Trying to narrow it down to just these few was really tricky. So many Beautiful, Emotional Images! Love you two and wish you all the best in your new future as Mr. and Mrs. !!!
See the raindrops? It felt like a miracle but unfortunately it only lasted a few minutes.

Then we headed to Montana de Oro, one of the most beautiful beaches here on the central coast. The rock formations are always a pleasure to photograph and Rachel was just too cute!
