Chad’s Senior Portraits – Atascadero High School Class of 2012

So this session proves that I am a photographer of my word! Got a great idea for your pictures – take me up on it 🙂 I will even get in a swimming pool for you!

My Senior Cards says: “Our Photography Experience is one-of-a-kind – Just like you! Enjoy a personalized session that reflects your style and personality! You will remember these portraits and your session forever….Let’s make it AMAZING!”
Well that all sounds good and I’m sure most people who look at the card and think yady yady ya…… but I am SERIOUS!
It is really important to me to give my seniors a great experience. I want them to give me lots of input on the types of settings and images they want. I also love to encourage them to bring props and I like to give them time to begin to feel comfortable enough in front of the camera so that I get great images where their personality shines.

So here is Chad – the first thing I learned about Chad was that he loved Water Polo and plays for Atascadero High School. Ok…..here was my chance to live up to my slogan 🙂 I immediately thought water – tossed out a few ideas and he was deinitely game. Here are some of the fun, definitely unique pictures we came up with. Thanks Chad for being a great sport and for such a memorable session!

This Slideshow turned out really great!!  See you at the Water Polo Games!

Sara’s Senior Portraits – Templeton High School Class of 2012

Sara, a self proclaimed “Country Girl” scouted out this location and WOW was it ever fun!.  As a photographer I fell in love with this place.  Everywhere I looked I saw more amazing possiblities!  Add to that Sara’s great sense of style and quick smile and here are some senior portraits to write home about!

Good Luck at the Mid State Fair this week Sara and thanks for a super fun portrait session!

Maddison Senior Slideshow – Templeton Photographer

Maddison is a Senior at Templeton High School. She loves the country and currently getting ready to take a pig to the fair. She especially wanted pictures in a field and when we saw the old truck she as all for it! I just love all the variety we got from her “Experience Session”. Such a beautiful girl!

Good Luck at the Mid State Fair Maddison!

Baby Carly

Here she is – the most adorable 15 day old Carly!

Truly a beauty with a sweet temerpment and the most amazing eyes.  Just like her pretty mother!  How much fun these two are going to have through the years!

Everytime I meet a newborn I consider it an honor.  I could spend hours just looking, snuggling, cooing, soothing….well you get the idea.  So naturally I adore photographing them.  It was shortly after photographing a newborn that I came up with my catch phrase

“Freeze a Moment – Make it Priceless.”

Dreaming of someting sweet! The whole world is refelected in these eyes.  May your journey be blessed Carly!

Amy and Alan’s Wedding – Portola Inn Atascadero, California

Amy and Alan had a magical June wedding at Portola Inn in Atascadero.  Everything came together so beautifully for this amazing couple.
Music brought Amy and Alan together and their devotion to God and family and their quirky sense of humor makes them the kind of couple you just want to be around.   All through the wedding day Amy and Alan were relaxed and quick to laugh.  They wanted this day to be all about sharing their joy with their family and friends and I can tell you they accomplished their goal beautifully.
Amy’s dress and her colors of purple and rose fit in perfectly with the historic nature of Portola Inn.  Add to that the most perfect weather you could ask for and well…..what an amazing start to their “Happily Ever After.”

This Garden Door worked perfectly for Amy to sneak up behind Alan for the “First Look” moment.

To ensure that Amy and Alan had plenty of time with their guests all the photography of them together and with their family was done before the ceremony.  As a photographer I absolutely LOVE this idea.  We get plenty of time to capture beautiful images and it helps the day just flow smoother with more time for breaks.  What an adorable “First Look” this is!
If the sun streaming through the magistic Oaks isn’t enough, another feature that makes Portola Inn an amazing venue is that they help with the event planning.  Everything from tables, dinnerware and sound systems can be arranged through them.
A Trolley gives guests a ride up the hill to the Historic house! The Bride and Grooms Fathers sang some songs with special lyrics just for the Bride and Groom!   So fun!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller – May your lives be blessed abundantly!
