Sarah and Erik decided to take their vows under a large oak tree in the gardens of Paso Robles Inn. The weather in July can be quite hot in northern San Luis Obispo County but their day was truly blessed with a comfortable temperature and a slight breeze.
Sarah and Erik wanted to keep their wedding simple and wanted to keep the pictures candid and relaxed and so my assistant and I enjoyed taking a few steps back and clicking in more of a photo-journalistic style. I absolutely adore some of the sweet expressions and moments we were able to capture.
I love what one of the bridesmaids said in the toasts, “Erik and Sarah are always best together. When you get Sarah, you get Erik and when you get Erik you get Sarah and that is just the way it is and should be.” Some weddings just leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. Not that this couple is fluffy in any way but the love between them was genuine and it was obvious that their friends and family adored them both and respected their love for each other. I love photographing eyes brimming with tears of joy and I saw that through my lens several times throughout this lovely day.
Another sweet love story. Thank you Erik and Sarah for the privilege of capturing these moments for you. Also thank you for your easy going natures. I love the confidence and freedom you gave me throughout your day to capture the moments without interrupting the flow. It was truly a pleasure to be your wedding photographer.
Enjoy! What a lovely way to begin your journey as Husband and Wife.
I love this unique way to present cupcakes! So darling! Also Paso Inn Dining provided the most delicious meal and of course they have a beautifully elegant reception room.Sarah and Erik hired “The One Night Band” live band! I am not exaggerating when I say everyone was on the dance floor! I can’t say enough good things about Matt Cross Music!
Congratulations Sarah and Erik!
